Hm.So.. is created in a Hackathon during the COVID-19. Most people are staying at home, suffering from social isolation and some other mental issues. How to relieve the pain of loneliness, how to make the quarantine time mentally relaxed, and how to get along with roommates easily when spending twice as much time with each other are the main questions we focus on to design such home social application.

Digital Space ~ TO Relieve the pain of Loneliness

The whole house is reproduced in the digital world by setting up the floor plan based on the room typical types and quantities. After setting up the digital share house, Hermia can easily see where her roommates are and check occupancy of each public space.

NLP ~ TO get along with roommates easily

To let the communication between roommates more accurate and concrete, Natural Language Processing is used to transfer the hard texts to soft emojis, helping relieving the embarrassment of talking about some hard topics, including money issues, noise reduction request, etc.

Status Anime ~ TO add some playfulness & amusement

Activity status of each roommate is shown in GIF animation in a real-time way. Thus, Hermia would not need to worry about being disturbed when she is working on something important or chat with roommates when she barely wants to talk.
